Sleek’s Biggest Dreamforce 2024 Takeaway
Dreamforce, Salesforce’s flagship event, delivered a wave of exciting innovations and fresh ideas this year, especially for those interested in AI and automation. Sleek’s CEO, Sabre Leek, and QSS™ Product Manager, Trevor Underwood, were Sleek’s boots on the ground, soaking up insights and envisioning how these developments could benefit higher education and nonprofit clients. For Sleek’s Quick Start Suites (QSS™) development team, Dreamforce guarantees many exciting opportunities to enhance the functionality packages. In this article, we wanted to focus on one innovation in particular that we think is going to be especially transformative: Agentforce.
Agentforce: The Future of Intelligent Querying
One of the most exciting revelations at Dreamforce this year was Agentforce, a tool that will integrate AI-driven querying similar to ChatGPT across Salesforce platforms. Imagine having an AI assistant embedded in your CRM! With Agenforce, Salesforce users will be able tomanage a team of autonomous agents to assist with both simple day-to-day tasks and complex data analysis.
The release of Agentforce will transform traditional dashboards, reports, and record pages and enable advancement and nonprofit teams to interact with their CRM data in a more conversational way. This represents a significant shift in how organizations manage donor and constituent information, automating daily tasks with AI agents that combine human input with AI-powered actions for more efficient and personalized engagement. If you’re a Salesforce user, you might already be a fan of the way it lets you use natural language in your reporting filters (e.g., “Show me all opportunities from last fiscal year”). This takes natural language interaction with your CRM to the next level.
In addition to helping to reduce manual work, we believe that Agentforce will make adoption of Salesforce much easier. Imagine how much more fun it will be to learn a new reporting tool if you can simply talk to it!
Agentforce Will Support and Enhance External Communications
Agentforce will have AI agents available in different clouds, including Education Cloud and NPSP, which offers enormous potential for higher ed institutions and nonprofits looking to go further with their CRM. Using Data Cloud to connect data from internal and external systems, users will be able to gain deeper insights into their constituent communities, allowing them to personalize support, scale staff efforts, and automate tasks.
We believe Agentforce will help fundraising organizations meet the growing demand for more personalized experiences—whether that’s making student services more accessible throughout the entire student lifecycle or building stronger, more intentional relationships with alumni and donors. The end result? Better enrollment, improved student success and well-being, higher graduation rates, and a boost in philanthropic giving. QSS™ Product Manager Trevor sees incredible potential with Agentforce.
As I learned more about Agentforce at Dreamforce, I saw so many practical use cases for advancement teams. You can quickly pull up a brief overview of the constituent you’re meeting with—past giving history, previous interactions, and deals—right at your fingertips. It’s a game-changer for donor engagement.
These features can also be combined with Salesforce’s Slack AI, which was introduced earlier this year. Now Slack users can collaborate on Salesforce records directly within Slack, meaning all conversations and actions are tied back to constituent records, creating a seamless, AI-powered experience. Salesforce users can now ask Agentforce to pull up constituent data, generate historical overviews, and create customized reports. This will be game-changing for any advancement team. The thought of combining Agentforce with Slack is especially exciting for Sleek’s business analysts as we rely more and more on external Slack channels to communicate with customers. Slack AI will enable seamless intake of support cases and enhance real-time communication with clients about their Salesforce orgs.
QSS™ and Agentforce are Teaming Up!
Agentforce’s AI-driven capabilities are set to have a transformative impact on our QSS™ packages, creating new opportunities for deeper automation, personalization, and smarter decision making. For QSS15 (Campaign Management), Agentforce’s sentiment analysis will allow advancement teams to gain deeper insight from form submissions, surveys, and social media interactions. Real-time analysis of tone and language gives institutions actionable insights that enable them to adjust their strategies and improve engagement and overall satisfaction.
For QSS17 (Online Giving), Agentforce can help optimize donor journeys by predicting which donors are most likely to contribute based on past behavior, allowing institutions to tailor their outreach accordingly and direct donors to tailor-made giving forms with personalized ask amounts. The integration of AI within online giving platforms will help provide real-time support for donors who, for example, want to make an adjustment to their recurring donation.
In QSS12 (Events Management), Agentforce will significantly improve event planning and execution by using predictive analytics to forecast attendance trends and donor interest. AI-driven insights can help advancement teams plan more personalized, impactful events that resonate with their alumni and donors, while automated follow-ups (and customized reports to enhance more personalized follow-up) will keep engagement going long after the event ends.
It doesn’t stop there—stay tuned for the release of our newest package, QSS32, which will be entirely centered around AI and tailored to the unique needs of higher education and nonprofit organizations! QSS32 will focus heavily on Slack integration, providing a collaborative space for Major Gift and Development Officers to work seamlessly with teams, SMEs, and stakeholders. With channel-by-channel collaboration for sharing ideas, next steps, and documents, QSS32 will streamline communication and strategy. Plus, by leveraging CRM Analytics and AI, the package will empower teams to make data-driven decisions, identify high-potential prospects, prioritize efforts, and build insights into constituent behavior.
